Sow your own cutting patch
Join us on the farm for a hands on session learning about how to sow seeds to create your own cutting patch in your garden.
All equipment will be supplied and you will leave with a mix of seeds, seedlings and plants to put into your own garden.
The session will include a tour of the farm, a chance for you to explain your set up and what you are hoping to achieve. There will be information on the best compost to use, how to grow with or without a greenhouse and the best way to look after your plants as they mature.
The group size is intentionally small so that there will be time plenty for questions.
Date 12th April 2025
Time: 10.00 am - 12.30pm
Location: Laxton, East Yorkshire
Refreshments will be supplied.
Please note:
You will need to have a space available in a garden or allotment to plant the items you sow. I will be happy to advise on how to prepare the ground to do this and will be in touch ahead of the session to ensure you have all the information that you need.
The event is outdoors, please wear suitable footwear for walking on uneven ground. The event will run if it rains and only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
